ABOUT US
Snyder’s Nursery is a family owned business that has been growing steadily over the past two decades. Owner, Kent Snyder started the nursery with just a small group of plants and a pile of mulch on his family’s farmland in Nippenose Valley. Little by little stock increased to feed his growing landscape business.

Then in 2002, they moved to Loyalsock Avenue, in Montoursville, PA. With the help of his daughter, Lynnette, Kent was able to relocate the business and kept quite busy. With a location that would allow him to focus more on retail, Kent ended his time as a landscaper and began spending time delivering product throughout the area.

More recently Snyder’s Nursery has again brought back their Landscaping Department, Snyder’s Landscapes Hardscapes, & Concrete which is headed by Kent’s son-in-law, Homero. With wife Lynnette, who creates the landscape designs, Homero has been able to expand the business out into the community.

In 2009 Snyders Nursery moved to their current location the historic former site of Keebler's Feed Store, 114 S. Montour Street, Montoursville We can be easily reached from Broad Street by turning South onto Montour, or taking Montour to the end from the Lowe's Intersection. At this new site we have worked to become a complete Garden Center & Feed Store. Improvements and changes will continue, so be sure to stop by and check our what is new!
